Heather Campbell remembered as strong, spontaneous

Heather Campbell was 22 years old when she died. She was finishing her senior year at Ohio State after enlisting in the navy as a nuclear machinist. She and her friends had plans to attend a birthday party together on Saturday, September 16. When Campbell didn’t show up, one of her close friends went to her apartment to check on her. That is when she found Campbell and her boyfriend Kyle Lafferty’s dead bodies next to each other on the floor.

All of Campbell’s friends are looking to each other for support during this tragic time, reports NBC4i. They will remember her as spontaneous, adventurous, and strong.

“She was definitely the type of person that when she walked into a room she captivated the whole room,” a friend, Elisabeth Bibbs told NBC4i.

The friend that discovered Campbell, Brianna Marselle, posted this on Instagram:

A beautiful soul was taken from our lives today, way too soon. Heather, you truly were an amazing person. Your personality was one of a kind and it was able to brighten up an entire room. You were always smiling and laughing and making everyone laugh along with you. You were the most beautiful person I knew, inside and out. You will be missed by so many people and you will never be forgotten. We all love you so much. Fly high Heather, our forever angel. ❤️
