Hilliard Daycare being accused of abusing baby girl

A Facebook post accusing a daycare in Hilliard of abusing a baby girl has gone viral. Crystal Gilmore, whose Facebook alias is Cheyenne Swift, made a lengthy Facebook post on the morning of July 26, claiming her daughter had suffered six fractured bones and five bruises while under the watch of Rainbow Child Care Too in Hilliard. It’s been shared more than 12,000 times.

In the post, Gilmore alleges that the daycare workers had no knowledge of her daughter’s bruises and claimed the security cameras were down for maintenance when the incident supposedly occurred. She later added on to the post, saying that other customers have come forward with concerns about the employees’ aggressive behavior.

NBC4i talked with the owner of Rainbow Child Care Too, Tamara Marinescu, about the allegations against her business.

“Oh my god no, if I thought for an instant that they would have done this they would not be employed here,” Marinescu told NBC4i. “It’s parents like her who give child care facilities a bad name when we are trying our damndest to make sure we can give the best for these children.”
