Yesterday, the manufacturer of the ride that broke apart, killing one person at the State Fair, gave a reason for the malfunction. Well, the lawyer going after whoever is responsible for the death of the rider is not buying it.
KMG is claiming their ride malfunctioned because of excessive corrosion on the beam bearing the passenger gondola.
Attorney Mark Kitrick told Cleveland.com that he’s hired a team of experts to reconstruct the crash and further investigate the death of 18-year-old Tyler Jarrell, reports NBC4i. The experts haven’t gotten a chance to examine the Fire Ball ride from the State Fair yet.
