Listeria Recall Hits Multiple Brands of Cheese
MDS by Deutsch Kase Hause LLC has recalled several brands of cheese in Ohio, the same brand that is linked to supplies of Sargento and Meijer brand cheeses.
According to NBC4i, the recall is due to found and suspected listeria contamination. Healthy individuals may experience listeria symptoms of high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, but listeria is most dangerous to the young, the elderly, and pregnant women.
Customers who have purchased cheeses from the below list are encouraged to the return the cheese for a full refund or call MDS Foods Customer Service: (330) 879-9780 extension 105 Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM, (EST).
