It has been five years since Ohio lifted its restrictions on pit bulls but some cities are just now starting to warm up to the breed. Dublin is the latest to reinstate their trust in pit bulls. They voted 6-1 to remove the “inherently vicious” label from the breed, reports The Dispatch.

The Dispatch also reports that Dublin cops have responded to 18 complaints pertaining to pit bulls since March of 2015.

New Albany and Reynoldsburg are both still holding out against pits.

Here’s a look at one statistic about the breed at the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Adoption Center (Note the lift of the pit bull law in 2012).

As you can see, adoption rates have steadily inclined form 2012-2015.

Will you be the next to give a pit a forever home?
