Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers were surprised to find 22 pounds marijuana and 12 pounds of THC edibles in a driver’s car after stopping the driver for a turn violation, according to their Facebook Page.
The drugs were valued at $154,360 belonging to Adam R. Bye, 25, who was arrested for possession of marijuana, a third-degree felony, possession of criminal tools, a fifth-degree felony, and failure to use a turn signal, a minor misdemeanor.
The troopers found marijuana debris inside the vehicle when Rye was first stopped, which prompted the probable cause search.
