Racism rears its ugly head again. This time in New Albany

Residents of Chelsea Place Apartments in New Albany woke up Thursday morning to see their cars plastered with racist fliers that implicated a local bar. The flier uses a racial slur that refers to black people and states they are not welcomed.

Co-owner of Average Joe’s Pub, Paul Rockwell, said he does not understand why someone would involve his business in something that’s so hateful.

“We open our doors to everybody,” said Rockwell. “We always have, we always will.”

Police are looking into the incident.
