Study says.. No fountain of youth? Flee Ohio
You know how some dogs run away from home when they sense the end growing near? Ohioans should probably consider modeling that same behavior according to one study.
A California-based family caregiver website called Caring.com ranked Ohio as the eighth worst place to grow old. Evidently daily activities, social relationships, and physical health for older people all suck here in the Buckeye State.
This comes after a study done a few months ago that put Ohio at their 18th worst place to retire.
On the other hand, a different recent study ranked Columbus as the second best city for recent college grads. Cincinnati was ranked #1.
We’re not claiming these studies are complete and accurate depictions of every Ohioans’ quality of life but is this data revealing at all of lapses in Ohio’s financial, medical, and well being offerings for senior citizens?
