Jury says DJ Ass Grab is mean, and a liar, and pathetic
Update: The drawn-out battle between Taylor Swift and a former Columbus radio producer has finally come to a close. The court ruled that David Mueller, former producer for WNCI’s Dave & Jimmy show, is in fact DJ Ass Grab. The jury ruled in favor of Swift’s accusations of him groping her during a meet and greet and against Mueller’s accusations of Swift purposefully destroying his career.
Taylor Swift was awarded her symbolic $1 in damages and hopes the outcome of this lengthy ordeal will encourage other women to come forward with their accounts of assault.

In 2013, David Mueller, a then-DJ of a Denver radio station, was backstage with his girlfriend for a meet-and-greet with Swift.
Naturally, the three took a photo together because it’s not every day that you get to meet the girlfriend of a radio DJ. This photo (and Mueller’s right hand) is at the center of all the squabbling.
Make of the photo what you will but here’s what played out after it was snapped..
- T-Swizzle accused Mueller of reaching up her skirt and “grabbed onto her ass cheek”
- Mueller denied all accusations but was still fired from his job at the Denver radio station
- Mueller filed a lawsuit against Swift for defaming him
- Swift countersued for assault and battery, seeking $1 in damages
That brings us up to this week when the jury selection for the civil trial in Denver begins.
