Watershed Inspires with “I’ll Have What I’m Having”

Watershed Distillery launched a campaign earlier this month with the purpose of sharing their story through the story of the Columbus community and the people who have contributed to the strong entrepreneurial texture of the city. 

Titled “I’ll Have What I’m Having,” this initiative aims to inspire and unite the community to create change for themselves and others through stories of local individuals, entrepreneurs and small businesses who are forging their own paths in their personal and professional lives. The campaign makes its debut just after the launch of Watershed’s brand new restaurant, Watershed Kitchen & Bar. 

“Watershed’s mission is to seek, create and celebrate change within our direct community and beyond. Our goal with this campaign is to use storytelling to inspire others to forge their own path and create change for themselves while also encouraging business to business collaboration amongst our peers,” said Greg Lehman, co-founder of Watershed Distillery. “We are inspired every day by the people we interact with while doing business in this city, and we think these stories are worth sharing with our community.” 

The stories will kick off with the likes of Re:Work Furnishings, Ramble Coffee and Butcher & Grocer, and will continue throughout the year with stories of other artists, makers, designers, chefs, etc. found right here in Columbus. The common thread amongst all the individuals featured, is a desire to forge their own path, pivot to their passions and create the life they see for themselves.

“I’ll Have What I’m Having” is a long-term effort meant to inspire the community. In the spirit of telling these stories, all ads and artwork for the campaign were done by local artist, Greg Davis, who left the corporate world to find balance and fulfill his dream of working as a freelance graphic artist and illustrator. Video content was produced by Watershed Distillery and directed by Historic Revelry. Historic Revelry, aka “The HR Department,” is a local company who combined their passion for spirits and bartending with creativity and humor to create a business beyond compare. 

To kick off the campaign, Watershed Distillery is hosting an “I’ll Have What I’m Having” Happy Hour on Tuesday, March 28 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm featuring special guests Alex and Lindsay Remley (Re:Work Furnishings), John Bartley (Ramble Coffee), Tony Tanner (Butcher & Grocer) and Greg Lehman and Dave Rigo.
