“I-I-I don’t want a lot for Christmas………….”
“Oh hell yeah, turn that Mariah up,” says everyone except Grinches and retail employees.
NBC4i reports that psychologists are beginning to realize the negative affects Christmas music can have on the mental health of retail workers.
They say the constant looping of all the most popular holiday tunes can distract store employees from being productive—all they can manage to think about is tuning out the music.
However, the study finds that music as well as seasonal scents positively impact shopper experiences.
And you know what they say, the customer is always right. *Shrug*
