OSU looking to cradle rob old Indianola Middle School

Ohio State University trying to get their hands on the former Indianola Middle School. The Columbus Board of Education is in charge of it now and they will decide today whether or not to allow the the university to move forward in purchasing.
The 9.3-acre property is listed in the Columbus as well as the National Register of Historical Properties. No word on what the university will use the property for or if they’ll make renovations if obtained.
Under Ohio law, school districts have to let schools in the community purchase properties at appraised value. OSU is looking at $2.35 mil the the case of Indianola Middle School.
