After being rejected once, a white nationalist leader has submitted another request to speak at Ohio State and this time, with an ultimatum.
Richard Spencer, National Policy Institute president and co-editor of alt-right website, is threatening to sue the university if they do not give him space to speak.
An attorney fighting for Spencer said in an email to Ohio State, “I imagine similar reviews are not required of politically left-wing events on campus, and your ‘review’ is therefore unconstitutionally discriminatory in and of itself,” reports WOSU.
Spencer’s white nationalist leadership lead to violence in Charlottesville, Virginia in August.
His first request to speak on campus was shot down due to safety concerns.
