Amazon Key: 1 small step for man, 1 giant leap into total invasion of privacy

The e-commerce turned brick and mortar giant, AKA Amazon, wants to come into your home to drop off packages.

Cool and convenient or way, way over the line?

The service is called Amazon Key and it involves customers purchasing a $250 Wi-Fi connected lock and camera from them. When the delivery person shows up, the camera starts recording and the door unlocks so they can place your order(s) inside your home.

It’s not being piloted in central Ohio but Amazon has big plans to expand into other cities.

But do you even want this service?

Find out more here.
