Central Ohio homes are selling for record high prices these days and are expected to keep rising. The average selling price of a home in June was $226,050 which is up 5.1 percent from June of 2016.
Mic Gordon, president of 2017 Columbus REALTORS®, told ABC6 that these are the highest prices on record.
The Columbus home and condo inventory has risen a bit in the past month. It currently sits at 5,077 and buyers are wasting no time snatching them up. A large majority of the Ohio Association of REALTORS® expect prices to keep rising over the next year too. If their prediction is correct, buy now before houses get even more expensive and sell later when your house will be worth more.
