Sarah Manns, Sarah Manns, Sarah Manns.. What to say about Sarah Manns.. Well for starters, you’ll be signed up for a Tough Mudder, squat max out challenge, and a supplement program before you even have time to hit “Follow” on her Instagram page. Her body is a beacon of fitness and she doesn’t skimp on motivation or advice, either. That doesn’t exclude her from cookies and donuts though, which she indulges in from pic to pic. Macros goin UP on a Monday πŸ™ŒπŸΌ The option for a one time macro setting is now available on my site! This is available through Wednesday of this week ONLY. – Why are macros awesome? Because you can live flexibly without feeling deprived or like you’re dieting at all. You know that your division of calories are appropriate for your goals. I see people all the time track calories and they’re over eating fat while under eating protein and they wonder why they can’t build muscle or lose fat! Tracking macros gives you a variable to play with as your goals change or your body changes. It is a very valuable tool. Many don’t know how to set or track their macros and macro calculators can be SO fucking off. My fitness pal tells you to under eat so bad for fat loss it pisses me off. I’m going to be doing lots of #TFLtrainertips on macros, but for now If you want to know where yours should be, if you need yours modified or tweaked, or if you just want more info on what macros are and how to track them head over to thefitnesslioness.com (link in bio) and let me help you! This will include a macro guide with all of my favorite macro friendly recipes like pancakes, waffles, burgers, tacos, and even pizza πŸ’πŸΌ PS things got really sexual with this donut right after this photo.

There are still days (and weeks) where I stand in my own way. It doesn’t matter how practiced you are there are still times being a human comes out. You let thoughts of doubt or fear invade your head and an unpracticed mind succumbs to the irrational thoughts while a practiced mind can either squash or combat. This week it was war. I would squash and it would come back. I would get mad at myself for not being able to squash and in a downward spiral I kept crunching myself into a corner. It all came to a head this workout here. My body and face may boast confidence but internally I couldn’t handle what my mind was doing to me. In times like that there’s nothing to do but RIDE IT OUT and remind yourself you’ve gotten through this before. Don’t combat. Don’t get mad at yourself for not being able to do something you 9 times out of 10 can. Just sit with it and ride it out. Fighting your own human nature… fighting the ebb and flow of life.. is literally fighting yourself. – We are at the beginning of peak week and I’m doing all that I can to stayyyyyy the fuckkkkkkk calmmmmmm. If I can do that we should be good fam πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ
