Local suit maker hooking soldiers up with new duds

614now Staff

A Columbus-based suit maker is hooking up a handful of military servicemen with some professional duds to smooth out their transition into a civilian career. Hunter & Lords is launching a “Suits for Soldiers” campaign where eight servicemen will be selected to receive some suave custom suits, shirts, and ties. It’s not uncommon for our nation’s heroes to return home to an obviously outdated closet. These new clothes can put them right back into the game with a pinstripe edge.

Friends and family can submit a 500-word essay describing why the military person in their life deserves the new business attire. As an extra bonus, all submissions will receive a little gift from Panera Bread. The deadline ends this Labor Day, September 4, so start writing now.
