Senate verbally backs Hyperloop, not opening wallets yet

Ohio Senators all nodded their heads to the Hyperloop idea but they aren’t willing to put any money where their mouth is.

They unanimously passed a resolution in support of the super-fast transportation system that would connect Cbus to Pittsburgh and Chicago.

The senate doesn’t know if they’ll need to seek public funding for the project but they plan to meet with Hyperloop One to discuss the next steps of the project, reports WOSU.

Ohio was one of only 9 other finalists chosen by the company to be researched for the Futurama-like technology.
