What sports franchises won’t do for their fans. The Columbus Clippers are no exception. After spending $600,000 on new field grass, the Clippers are planning to drop $1 million on a new video scoreboard. The new gadget will allow for highlights to be shown and will have way more bells and whistles, fit to entertain a crowd of rowdy baseball fans. It’ll be about the same size as the one you’re used to but be more high-def.
The old video scoreboard will be removed and the new one will be installed in its place before the home opener on April 12, reports The Dispatch.
