Light up the night at Water Lantern Festival

Illuminate the Scioto at the Columbus Water Lantern Festival.

This charming event is going down September 8 at The Promenade, 233 S Civic Center Dr.

The Water Lantern Festival begins at 5pm with food trucks and  music, leads into lantern design sessions beginning at 7pm and the remaining two hours are dedicated to the beautiful lantern launch.

Adult tickets start at $25 and include

• Entry into the festival area
• Floating water lantern
• Commemorative Drawstring Bag
• Marker
• Wristband

In addition, the price covers the cost of collecting and removing the lanterns from the water following the event as well as cleaning up any trash that may have been previously been in or around the water.
