Popular local BBQ ditches pop-up for permanency

Less than a year after popping up in the Long John Silvers parking lot at 1102 South High Street, Legacy Smokehouse will be settling into a permanent location.

The Texas-style BBQ joint has hauled their trailer over to their new home at 340 Greenlawn Ave.

This is the former location of Berliner Pub conveniently located right across the street from Berliner Park.

Legacy Smokehouse will no longer operate in the Long John Silvers lot.

Interior renovations are underway and should last a few weeks with a grand opening to follow.

This will be Legacy’s third location with other stores in Short North’s Food Hall and Old Hilliard.
