Power couple of BBQ, beer orchestrate new supper club

Ray Ray’s Hog Pit and Land-Grant Brewing Company are the latest power couple in the food and drink scene and with power comes more responsibility. Today, they’ve taken responsibility for your Sunday dinner plans.

Ray Ray’s and Land-Grant present: Hickory + Oak Supper Club

On the last Sunday of each month, Land-Grant in Franklinton will close a bit early, the tables will be dressed, the plates will be placed, and the gluttonous feast will begin.

Brewers will select special oak-aged beers from the cellar to tap while Ray Ray’s hickory-fed smoker does its magic on some off-menu chef specialties.

“Each month, gather ’round our tables with friends, family, and fellow barbecue- and beer-lovers for Sunday Supper,” says the press release. “The chefs and brewers will guide you through the multi-course beer pairing while you sip and savor the night’s plentiful offerings.”

Here are a few teasers for January:

  • 24-month aged Mangalitsa procuitto (sliced & Nduja)
  • 20-month whipped lardo
  • Braised jowl
  • Ohio Wagyu carpaccio

One-time tickets as well as 6-month memberships are available. The brewery only seats 60 so secure your place at the table before the gettin’ is gone.
