CPD tweet, post their way to lower violent crime rates
Homicide rates in 2017 were record breaking but according to the Columbus Police Department, overall rates of violent crime were down—they say social media is to thank.
Maybe you haven’t noticed but the CPD has really ramped up their Facebook and Twitter presences to help spread the word about at-large criminals and other information the general public should know about.
