Officials are saying the odds are high that Ohio will see upwards of $3 a gallon for gas come April or May. Certainly, it’ll suck if/when that happens but officials are also saying this will likely be a short-term happening.
Gas prices fluctuate with demand and because of statewide cabin fever, gas prices are relatively low. Though compared to last year at this time, a gallon of gas is about 30 cents more now. This increase is due to the high market price for crude oil, reports Columbus Dispatch.
Gas prices will continue to rise as the spring and summer driving season approaches.
