OSU student falls to death from Ohio Union

An Ohio State University student fell to his death from Ohio Union south garage Thursday.

The victim has been identified as Daniel Birdsall who majored in criminology and criminal justice, reports The Lantern.

Birdsall reportedly fell from the Ohio Union south garage around 6:30pm and was transported to the Wexner Medical Center.

He died later that night.

“We are deeply saddened to share that the student who fell from the Ohio Union South Garage on Thursday has died. On behalf of the entire Ohio State community, our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of Daniel Birdsall,” a university statement said per The Lantern.
