While the Buckeyes will take on in-state foe Cincinatti at the Shoe this weekend, there are plenty of other happenings going down for the non-sport fans. Whether you’re indulging in donuts, or celebrating local brands in the city, here are the events to keep on your radar.

Festival For Good Near BrewDog Franklinton
In 2019, consumers are more and more aware of the giving practices of the companies they shop at. To celebrate the local options that are doing just that, Festival For Good hopes to highlight social enterprises here in Central Ohio. The free-to-attend festival will support enterprises like Coffee Crafters and Eleventh Candle Co. and will feature food trucks and brews from BrewDog.
Ohio State Football v. Cincinnati Bearcats
Welcome to September, or as most dads in the city call it, football season. Drop your Saturday plans and head to the Shoe to watch the Buckeyes take on our southern sister city, Cincinnati. On the road to the playoffs, every game counts. So bring your best. OH-!

Cider, Love And Donuts @ Mad Moon Hard Cider
Mad Moon Hard Cider is teaming up with Buckeye Donuts for a collab that will hit hard on anyone’s sweet tooth. At the event, you’ll taste your way through a flight of four different ciders paired with four different Buckeye Donut donuts. The event kicks off at 11:30 a.m. so start your Sunday right with loads of calories and a bit of a buzz.
Merion Village Festival @ Moeler Park
Every second Sunday in September is the chance for the community to come together and celebrate local artists and crafters as well as local businesses and organizations. Come out and show your support at this free-to-attend event!
Purrs & Palettes @ Eat, Purr, Love Cafe
This one is for the artists who love their cats! Bring a photo of your cat, or simply bring your feline, and Eat, Purr, Love Cafe will walk you through the steps of making a portrait of your beloved kitty. Without a doubt, these belong front and center on fridges across the city.
