Fresh off a successful inaugural year, the Columbus Summer Wine Festival is back to take you to Cloud Wine. Twenty wineries are confirmed for the 2019 event, taking place Saturday, August 24 from 2 pm – 10 pm at the Columbus Commons.

Twenty wineries from all over the great state of Ohio will be helping you make pour decision, including: Alexandre La’ Mon Wine, Bent Ladder, Buckeye Winery, Camelot Cellars, Chateau Tebeau Winery, Deers Leep Winery, Dutch Creek Winery, Gillig Winery, Herrenhaus Elflein, It’s Your Winery, Lincoln Way Vineyards, Olde Schoolhouse Vineyard and Winery, Old Mason Winery, Plum Run Winery, Susec Chalet Winery, Uprising Meadworks, Via Vecchia Winery, Vinberige Vineyards, The Winery at Versailles, and Wishmaker House Winery. (Line-up subject to change.)

The day-long celebration will also feature artisan exhibits, food trucks, specialty food items, and live musical entertainment.

Columbus Summer Wine Festival will benefit the charity CD102.5 for the Kids, raising money to accredited organizations that provide support and as- sistance to children and families in the Central Ohio area.

“CD102.5 for the Kids is happy to again be partnering with Mike [Gallicchio] and MGN. “Not only will the event assist in supporting a fantastic cause right here in Central Ohio, but it will help support the Ohio wine industry by providing a new opportunity to feature the state’s grape indus- try,” stated Randy Malloy, chief executive officer of WWCD 102.5.

Tickets for the event are currently on sale through Eventbrite and the festival’s Facebook page. Early Bird tickets are $25 per person through August 3, and increase to $30 starting August 4. Admission includes a souvenir wine tasting glass,10 taste tickets, ac- cess to entertainment, and the festival grounds. Additional taste tickets will be available for purchase at the event. Guests must be 21 and over to participate in the samplings.
