Arrested: More drama for former Ohio State coach Zach Smith
A former assistant coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes has found himself at the center of even more drama. Zach Smith, who was fired after being accused of abusing his wife, was arrested for violating a protection order.
According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office per NBC4i, Zach Smith was attempting to pick up his children from Scioto Ridge Elementary School when he became confrontational with staff members. The police were called and found Smith to be violating a civil protection order. He was arrested and charged.

His wife Courtney filed a protection order against Smith following domestic violence allegations against him. Then-head coach Urban Meyer swiftly fired Smith for his handling of the accusations.
