Fast fashion: Car crashes near 2 Short North boutiques

According to a report from ABC 6, Police are investigating what caused a car to careen out of control in the wee hours of Friday morning near two popular Short North businesses.

As seen in photos from the scene, the car crashed into a utility pole in front of Rowe Boutique, Ladybird Fashion, and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams on High Street.

Apparently no one was hurt, and there was no damage to any of the buildings in the area, however Ladybird posted on social media that they will be closed today.

Police are questioning the driver of the wrecked vehicle to determine the cause of the accident.

Was someone a little too excited to grab some Jeni’s, or was the driver simply seeking a late-night fashion fix? Whatever the cause, remember to follow the “big toe” rule around the accelerator – never floor it!
