Oct. 2 Watch Party Easton Town Center— From 8-10 p.m., the organization ThriveIN will host a Watch Party: A Girls Night (Drive) In at Easton Town Center. The drive-in movie event will screen the culture classic Love & Basketball. In addition to the movie screening, the event will include Black-owned food trucks, music, and more. 

Oct. 2-4 Cartoon Crossroads Columbus—The annual celebration of comics, animation, editorial cartoons, newspaper strips, and more is going mostly virtual this year, but not entirely. The keynote speaker will be Gene Luen Yang, author of American Born Chinese, Boxers & Saints, and Dragon Hoops. Award-winning cartoonist Jeff Smith will speak as well. Oct. 3 2020 Stonewall Columbus (Virtual) Pride Parade—Starting at 11:30 a.m., there will be a live broadcast of “Pride Parades of History.” In the evening, Lift Yourself Up goes live from the Stonewall building. Guests can join online or walk past the building to show their PRIDE. Through the month of October, there will be a live broadcast every Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Gather, safely, every Saturday during the month to show your PRIDE. Share your images and videos on social media with the tags #SWCPride365 and #PRIDE365.

Oct. 3 Short North Gallery Hop—The Short North Gallery Hop is still alive and well, though being officially promoted and supported virtually. You can watch the Short North Arts District Instagram feed starting at 1 p.m. to see which businesses have special deals. From there, you can go visit the Short North yourself and enjoy strolling the streets. However, the SNAD is asking that you follow safety guidelines while doing so. Oct. 5 Deadline for voter registration—If you want to vote in the 2020 election, this is the final day for you to register. You can do so online

Oct. 8 Wexner Center for the Arts free Thursday evenings—Visitors can tour The Wex for free from 4-8 p.m. A complete schedule of exhibitions, screenings, classes, and more is featured on their website.
