Freedom a la Cart invites Columbus to virtually Eat In for annual fundraising event
As more and more events are canceled due to the outbreak of COVID-19, Freedom a la Cart isn’t slowing down for its annual fundraising event, Eat Up! Columbus. To keep in line with social distancing and shelter-in-place orders, Eat Up! has become a virtual gathering now known as Eat In! Columbus.
Eat Up! hosted by Freedom a la Cart—a service that provides workforce training for human trafficking survivors as well as creating scratch-made-meal—is the organizations biggest fundraising event where proceeds go towards supporting what it does. This year in its place, Eat In! will take place on April 25 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. A purchased ticket includes cocktails and snacks delivered to your home in addition to access to the storytelling happening throughout the night.
