Get your Picnic in a Box from The Crest

After closing briefly due to COVID-19 concerns, Clintonville gastropub The Crest is back with a new menu offering meals specially tailored to the outdoors—starting with Picnic in a Box. Picnic with The Crest is packed with seasonal food such as the beet salad, then topped off with chilled cocktails, like the bourbon-boosted “A Nice Tea,” all available for pick up.

The restaurant, located at 2875 Indianola Ave., is presenting its picnic boxes at their new walk-up window, with ordering also offered online and via phone, according to The Crests’s Facebook post. There is outdoor seating on The Crest’s patio, rooftop, and garden for guests who don’t want to wait to dig in.

The Crest’s new hours are 4-10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Regular updates can be found on their Facebook page.
