Standard Hall opens its doors once again
Short North hangout Standard Hall was one of the first Columbus-area bars to open its doors as soon as the COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. It was also one of the first bars to reclose its doors following multiple warnings the weekend that Standard reopened.
An initial cause for concern came when reports were made of people gathering in large groups while eating and drinking. Those issues were addressed by City Attorney Zach Klein, citing that people who are out to eat and drink need to be seated.
Owner Chris Corso took these warnings very seriously, shutting down Standard Hall once again in mid-May to come up with policies that would ensure safe social distancing.
Over the weekend, Standard Hall reopened their doors with new strict safety guidelines.
The hours of operation for Standard Hall are as follows:
- Thursday – 3 p.m. – 2 a.m.
- Friday – 3 p.m. – 2 a.m.
- Saturday – 11 a.m. – 2 a.m.
- Sunday – 11 a.m. – 2 a.m.
