Zoom with your dog on ‘Take Your Dog to Work Day’
Woof woof!
That’s dog for “Tomorrow is National Take Your Dog to Work Day!” While workplaces have been reopening, allowing their employees to work from offices once again, there are still people confined to their homes for the indefinite future.
On a day that you may usually take your dog into your cubicle, you may be celebrating your 100th “Take Your Dog to Work Day” this year alone.
The risks of dogs spreading COVID-19 is considered low, but we want to make sure it’s 100 percent safe before we can bring our doggos to our 9-5s.

So, while you may still be working remotely, or wanting to be extra cautious when possibly exposing your dog to COVID-19, the canine-friendly publication DogTime has a couple of suggestions to spice up this National Take Your Dog to Work Day.
Those ideas include video conferencing your dog into your Zoom calls (if you haven’t done so already) or thinking about fostering a dog during these crazy times. Check out the Franklin County Dog Shelter & Adoption Center for an opportunity to give a furry friend some much-need “hooman” time.
