Frosty flakes: Wendy’s releases a breakfast cereal

Jack McLaughlin

We’ve always wanted to have a Frosty for breakfast, and now we actually can.

Wendy’s has partnered with Kellogg to release its first-ever breakfast cereal, Wendy’s Frosty Chocolatey Cereal. The limited edition item will hit shelves in December, with a suggested retail price of $3.99.

The cereal will be made up of crispy bites covered in cocoa, in addition to chocolate-flavored marshmallow pieces. A press release claims that each bite of the new cereal “evokes the irresistible taste of a Wendy’s Frosty.”

This isn’t the restaurant’s first foray into the grocery store, either. Wendy’s also partnered with Kellogg to release Pringles flavors inspired by the burger joint’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich and Baconator earlier this year.

And if Wendy’s oddities are your thing, the Dublin-based chain opened its first-ever store inside of a Walmart in nearby Heath, Ohio this year. This location offers several exclusive items, such as the Strawberry Frosty and Buttermilk Ranch nuggets.
