New Orleans fried chicken chain headed to Sawmill Road

A new Popeyes location appears to be opening outside Dublin, according to Columbus city documents.

The site is 7702 Sawmill Rd., where a Burger King was formerly located. Cincinnati-based Gilligan Company, which owns Popeyes stores in Ohio and Indiana, is opening this store. Gilligan Co. owns three other Popeyes locations within the Columbus area.
