Dreamy outdoor spaces await you this weekend in the Short North
Fall may be quickly approaching, but that doesn’t mean there’s still not time to take on some end-of-summer outdoor projects, or start your garden/patio wish list for 2022.
The Short North Civic Association’s Annual Tour of Homes & Gardens is back for its 46th year this weekend, and tickets are on sale now for both general admission and the exclusive VIP tour and rooftop afterparty.
Wondering what you’ll experience on the tour? Historic homes around the scenic Goodale Park area will be on full display for a self-guided neighborhood walking tour, offering lots of inspiration for creating gorgeous, unique outdoor living spaces.
Unlike past tours featuring home interiors, this year the tour will focus on outdoor living trends, highlighting extraordinary spaces including edible gardens, landscaped lawns, beautiful terraces, furnished social yards, satellite kitchens, outdoor technology, al fresco dining areas, inviting pools, patios and pergolas.
The Tour of Homes & Gardens kicks off Saturday, Sept. 18th at 4pm with a VIP preview tour and rooftop party. Guests will enjoy an exclusive preview of garden tour locations followed by an evening under the stars with catered hors d’oeuvres and an open bar at Hubbard Park Place.
The full Garden Tour for general admission is Sunday, Sept. 19th from 10am to 4pm. Grab your tickets soon!

Event proceeds support a number of Short North area projects and activities, including Screen on the Green, the Goodale Park Music Series, Neil Avenue planters, streetscaped medians, and local grants for community projects.
