National pickleball club and restaurant chain opening first Ohio location in Columbus

The new combination pickleball club and restaurant coming to Polaris is kind of a big dill.

Or, should we say, it’s the Real Dill.

That’s because Real Dill Pickleball Club is opening its first Ohio location with a Polaris clubhouse and eatery.

The club, which is billed as a spot for both competitive, league-based and casual pickleball, will be located within the Galaxy development at Polaris. As part of the development’s last phase, Real Dill is slated for an opening in the fall of 2023.

The Galaxy is adjacent to the Polaris IKEA location.

Real Dill will also include an on-site, club style restaurant with lighter fare to “compliment the active nature of playing pickleball,” according to the Real Dill website. The eatery will feature different menus for breakfast and lunch, with items like wood-fired pizza and shareable snacks. Beer and cocktails will be available throughout the day as well.
