The Short North steakhouse Urban Chophouse has been sold by One Hospitality Group (formerly Corso Ventures) to a private investment group “with Columbus roots,” according to a statement from One Hospitality.

The eatery will be rebranded as Chophouse 614.

“One Hospitality has sold Urban Chophouse in the Short North to a private investment group with local roots here in Columbus,” a statement regarding the sale reads. “One Hospitality, in partnership with the investment group, will continue to make sure Chophouse remains the premiere dining and entertainment spot in Greater Columbus offering the highest level of standards.”

The restaurant is located within the Short North apartment Complex Luxe 23, located at 1079 N. High St.

Urban Chophouse first opened in the spring of 2021. One Hospitality also operates Urban’s Pint House, which launched in Dublin’s Bridge Park in the fall of 2019. The group confirmed the sale of Urban Chophouse will not affect Urban’s Pint House.
