Cameron Mitchell Restaurants unveils name, renderings of anticipated Downtown steakhouse

This Summer, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) is set to bring the upscale Italian eatery Cento to German Village. Next summer, Butcher & Rose will make its mark upon Downtown Columbus.

In a press release this morning, CMR announced Butcher & Rose as the name of its new Downtown steakhouse, which will be located on the ground floor of 155 E. Broad St.

According to CMR, the target opening date for the new Downtown steakhouse is Summer 2024.

“Butcher & Rose will be a stunning, lively and over-the-top steakhouse experience for guests to indulge and create memorable moments with mouthwatering culinary creations. The partnership with Edwards Companies will bring new life to this section of Broad Street, offering an unforgettable high-end dining experience and the genuine hospitality our raving fans have grown to love,” said Cameron Mitchell, CEO and founder of CMR in a press release. “Those who know me well understand I am passionate about a great steak and am excited to reenter the classic steakhouse space, 25 years after opening and 15 years after selling Mitchell’s Steakhouse in downtown Columbus.”

The restaurant group has teamed up with local developer Edwards Cos. to release multiple renderings of the new restaurant as well.
