Central Ohio pizzeria and restaurant reopening after temporary closure

Jack McLaughlin

A popular central Ohio spot for pizza and more has announced a reopening date following a temporary closure.

PJ’s Original Family Restaurant, which is located at 571 W. Cherry St. in Sunbury, is planning to reopen on June 26, according to a statement posted to its Facebook page earlier today.

Originally, PJ’s was aiming to reopen its Sunbury eatery on June 1. The restaurant closed in April, and was hoping its remodel–the reason for the temporary closure–would last five weeks.

In addition to its remodel, PJ’s, which is known both for its pizza and as an eatery serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, will begin using QR codes to allow customers to view its breakfast and lunch menus.

According to PJ’s Facebook statement, the Sunbury eatery will be open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m.-11 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
