Central Ohio’s largest pizza event is returning for the first time since 2019

While COVID-19 put an end to Slice of Columbus in its original form, we’re about to get another piece of the pie.

Re-Slice of Columbus, a new iteration of Slice of Columbus, will be held on Sept. 28, from 6-9 p.m. The event will take place at COhatch Westerville, which is located at 240 S. State St. In previous years, Slice of Columbus was held at the Columbus Commons.

You can purchase tickets here.

The event, like its predecessor, is organized by The Development Board of Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) and invites many of the city’s top pizzerias to cook their best pies for attendees to sample.

“Slice ended with COVID, but we’ve wanted to bring it back ever since,” said NCH Assistant Director of Community Partnerships Kenna Scaife, who noted the event was canceled in 2022 due to COVID concerns. “Re-Slice lets us do that with a smaller capacity.”

According Scaife, the following eateries will attend this year, with more likely still to join:

Romeos

Jets

Gionino’s

Hound Dogs

Cardinal Pizza

North High Brewing

Red Brick Tap and Grill

Anges

Black Dog Pizzeria

Like Slice in the past, Re-Slice of Columbus will serve as a fundraiser for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, with all proceeds benefiting pediatric research.
