Owner of Columbus burger spot rolling out new food concept featuring ‘world famous weiners’
Note: After a refrigerator malfunction, the Ryland’s Hot Dogs’ Pop-up on 7/25 will be an Ash & Em pop-up, although the hot dog concept does plan to launch at a later date.
The Brewery District concept Ash & Em may be known for its burgers, but starting today, its owner plans to roll out a new concept serving up “world famous weiners.”
According to a social media post, Ash & Em will be introducing a new concept, Ryland’s Hot Dogs, at an event today.
Ryland’s will launch for the first time at Hilliard’s DORA ever. The concept will be a pop-up (from 4 p.m. until close) inside of The Station Bar, which is located at 4030 Main St. in Hilliard.

It will serve a variety of decked-out hot dogs and cheese curds.
According to owner Chris Shirey, the concept will start as a pop-up, but the Ash & Em owner has bigger plans for it.
“This is a concept we’ve had in the works for awhile. We’re just waiting for the right time to ‘launch it.’ We’re using the DORA event on Thursday in hopes of getting feedback and just seeing how it goes as a pop up,” he said “But we plan to open a new space with the concept at some point.”
