The owner of a Grandview-area restaurant and bar has been identified as the victim in a shooting that took place Monday night.

Rudy Tirado-Gonzalez, the 51 year-old man who was shot and killed at the Crazee Mule Bar & Grill on the City’s north side Monday night, was the owner of Rudy’s Food & Drink, which is located at 1021 W. 5th Avenue.

Police have charged 25 year-old Armando Flores with murder, and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

Following the death of Tirado-Gonzalez, the future plans of bar and restaurant are uncertain. Yesterday evening, Rudy’s Food & Drink was closed, while a sign hanging from its front door read:

“We are doing the best we can. Please be patient and kind. We appreciate your business.”

At the time this story was published, Rudy’s has not released any information about what’s in store for the bar and restaurant.
