Festival featuring food trucks, live music played on porches of homes, returning next weekend

Next weekend, Porchfest will return to Bexley.

The popular festival–which held its inaugural central Ohio event in the summer of 2022–involves musical acts performing on the lawns and porches of homes on S. Dawson Avenue in Bexley. This format lends itself to a free-flowing, block party atmosphere that’s family friendly.

This year’s Porchfest will take place June 1, from 1-7 p.m.

Porchfest will feature 25 different musical acts across 12 different yards and porches. You can see a full lineup here. The event will also offer food trucks and a beer and cider tent.

The festival, which was inspired by the original Porchfest in Ithaca, New York, will donate all of its proceeds to the Alzheimer’s Association Longest Day Fundraiser.
