Ohio has some of the best drivers in the U.S., according to recent ‘Forbes’ study

It might not seem like it when you’re trying to merge onto 270 at approximately 5:15 on a Tuesday…but apparently, Ohio has some of the best drivers in the entire country.

According to a recent study by Forbes, where they collected data from the months of June to July of this year, Ohio has the second-best drivers in the nation.

Ohio reported a low percentage of texting and driving, speeding 10-19 miles per hour over the speed limit, and a low rate of changing lanes without using turn signals. Ohio’s not perfect though – Forbes also analyzed the most common poor driving behaviors in each state, and Ohio’s faults were speeding to catch a yellow light and also eating while driving.

Tennessee ranked as the best state overall for the best drivers and best driving behavior. Then, following Ohio, the next best state for driving behaviors are Pennsylvania and Florida.

The states with the worst drivers include Hawaii, Oregon, and New Mexico.
