After more than a decade, Italian Village bar announces permanent closure

Before the end of the month, a long-standing Italian Village watering hole will close its doors for good.

According to a social media statement posted by owner Quinn Fallon, Little Rock Bar’s final day of business will be Aug. 16.

“It is with both excitement and sadness that we announce the closure of Little Rock,” Fallon wrote. “We’ve had a fantastic run, but for me personally, it’s time to step out from behind the bar.”

He went on to stay that he will remain as landlord of the Italian Village bar, and that a “lovely couple has purchased the business.”

Fallon told 614Now that the owners of Thirsty’s pub in Galloway will be launching a new concept out of the space, and they may retain some of Little Rock’s staff.

Little Rock Bar, which has been open for 11 years, is located at 944 N. 4th St.
