Olympic gold medalist is guest bartending at two popular restaurants tonight

Not only has this Olympian been featured on The Cooking Channel and Food Network, but he’s also a credited mixologist with his own lounge bar and pop-up bar, as well as an author and chef. Oh, and most importantly, he’s been featured in a South Park episode. 

Yup, we’re talking about none other than Brian Boitano, who won the gold medal in figure skating in 1988, and a plethora of other medals in world championships. He’s incredibly talented on the rink and behind the bar, and he’s taking his talents to Columbus while he’s here for the U.S. Figure Skating Championship at Nationwide Arena.

Tomorrow, January 23rd, he’ll be mixing up cocktails at the Guild House from 4-5 p.m., and Lincoln Social from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Since retiring from competition, Boitano has has been recognized as an accomplished chef and bartender. His recipes have been featured on The Cooking Channel and Food Network, and his passion led him to create his bar in Lincoln, Nebraska, called Boitano’s Lounge. 

The Guild House is located at 624 N. High St., and Lincoln Social is nearby at 711 N. High St. in case you want to pop-in for a gold-medal deserving cocktail!
