Restaurant, lounge concept co-founded by rapper 2 Chainz closing location
The restaurant concept co-founded by Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz will close its sole Columbus location.
According to social media post from the eatery, Esco Restaurant and Tapas Columbus Will officially close the doors of its Downtown eatery by the end of the year, although a specific date was not announced.
Esco’s post claims the eatery is planning a new Columbus location, although it says the address of the new space is currently “TBD.”

Esco will be transitioning to carryout only food sales this week, and it plans to have one final in-person celebration on Dec. 6
The Downtown restaurant, which is located at 31 E. Gay St., officially opened its doors in early 2023. The concept’s original location—billed as an “upscale lounge”—remains open in Atlanta. It also operates eateries in the Atlanta suburb of Marietta, as well as a location in Memphis.
