National spicy chicken chain opening Westerville location this week

The third Dave’s Hot Chicken location in central Ohio is set to open its doors this week.

The chain’s Westerville storefront, which is located at 803 Polaris Pkwy. in Westerville, will hold its grand opening on May 3.

Dave’s Hot Chicken, known for its Nashville-style hot chicken tenders and tender sandwiches, currently operates two other locations in the Columbus-area, one in the University District and another on the city’s Northwest Side.

While the concept has opened three central Ohio stores in just over a year and a half, the Los Angeles-based chicken chain said in 2022 that it could open as many as 12 locations in the Columbus area.

The Westerville Dave’s Hot Chicken will be open 10:30 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday and 10:30-12 a.m. Thursday-Saturday.
